Lil Nas X remixed his hot single “Old Town Road” with Billy Ray Cyrus. The rapper had previously faced heavy criticism after Billboards took the song out of the Billboard Hot 100 because they didn’t consider the song to be “country”, whatever that means. After country star Billy Ray Cyrus joined the track, many other artists started backing up Nas X. Anyways, the track was fire. Lil Nas X’s voice fit really well with the country/trap beat. Billy Ray Cyrus also came out of nowhere and literally released one of the hardest verses this year. Who would’ve thought that a country star would’ve had verse with actual bars and lyrics. I loved the song and it’s extremely catchy, especially the hook.
